Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a Foot Specialist / Chiropodist, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
Insurance
Most insurance companies like Manulife, Great West Life, Greenshield, Sunlife, Standard Life, CINUP, RWAM, , Cowan, Desjardins, etc. recognise and cover the services of a Chiropodist. Two things you should ask your provider or read in your booklet:
1. Are Chiropody Visits covered? How much per vist? How much per year? ( note that as we do hundreds of different types of treatments, they all fall under the umbrella term Chiropody Visits)
2. Are Orthotics covered?
(Note that treatment fees are payable at the time of service. For Orthotic insoles, we take a small deposit for Orthotic orders, and you pay the balance when you collect. Insurance companies want you to collect the orthotics before you submit the bill for re-imbursement. The other good news is that you do not need a referral to see us and we can often write RX's for your Orthotic Insoles, but to be on the safe side, check with your insurance company)
